Support us in updating and maintaining our mental health directory for racialised communities facing ongoing racist hostility in the UK.
In August 2024, in response to the UK racist riots, we compiled an initial list of mental health organisations and services for People of Colour, Migrants, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Muslim Communities affected by the racist violence, rhetoric and targeted attacks. You can access the 2024 list here. Since then, this resource has been shared widely across affected communities, helping countless individuals and communities find culturally appropriate mental health support.
Why this continues to matter:
The rise in far-right activity across the UK, including hostile marches, increased hate crimes, and inflammatory rhetoric, means that racialised communities continue to face ongoing trauma and safety concerns. Outdated information can leave people seeking help without support when they need it most. Regular updates keep this vital resource reliable and accessible.
Our goal is to raise £5,000 to sustain this work for the coming year by employing a dedicated coordinator to keep the directory current and comprehensive. Your donations will help us regularly update the list, add new services, verify contact information, and ensure it remains accessible to those who need it most.
Your donation directly ensures that individuals and communities facing racist hostility can find the mental health support they need.
As a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to addressing trauma and healing within Black communities, we stand in solidarity with all racialised communities affected by racism and violence.
