Terms and Conditions for Events

General

Community Trauma UK is a Private Limited Company by guarantee without share capital use of ‘Limited’ exemption.

Payment

Payment for Community Trauma Conference UK events can be made any time up three days before the event. Full payment would need to be made at the time of booking.

Organisations paying by invoice; all event ticket fees must be paid within 7 days of receipt of our invoice.

Discounts and promotions

Early Bird deals or offers are available at a reduced price, for a limited period and for a limited number of people making earlier than usual bookings.

Student/trainee offers are available at a reduced price. Community Trauma UK reserve the right to ask to see evidence of training being undertaken.

Discount and promotion codes entitle you, at the time of ordering, to a saving on a new order placed with Community Trauma UK. Details of any minimum or percentage discount, including VAT and saving entitlement, will be issued with your code. Discount and promotion codes are only valid for orders placed online.

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to decline to accept orders where, in its opinion, a discount or promotion code is invalid for the order being placed.

Discount and promotion codes are only valid for a limited period of time. The expiry date will be publicised with the relevant promotion code.

Only one discount or promotion code can be used per order.

Discount and promotion codes are not valid in conjunction with any other promotion, on sale items or other discounted items.

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to terminate any discount or promotion code at any time.

Hereafter; the term Events will mean conference or workshop.

Limitation of liability

Community Trauma UK does not accept responsibility for accident, injury or loss suffered while attending one of our events unless it is directly due to negligence on its part.

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to amend or cancel any event date.

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to change a speaker at one of our events without offering a refund.

In the unlikely occurrence of an event being cancelled, Community Trauma UK will refund any payments received.

Community Trauma UK will not, however, refund any costs incurred as a result of this cancellation.

We reserve the right to change a speaker at one of our conferences without offering a refund. However, if a solo presenter cancels, we will offer a full refund OR transfer your payment to another Community Trauma UK event. If the entire event is cancelled, we will offer you a full refund.

Force majeure

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to cancel, suspend or vary the operation of our obligations to you if events occur which are in the nature of force majeure including (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) fire, flood, storms, explosion, earthquake, epidemic, plant breakdowns, strikes, lock outs, riot, hostilities, non-availability of material or suppliers or any event outside of Community Trauma Conference UK control; and we shall not be held liable for any breach of contract or tort resulting from such an event.

Event refund policy

A full refund is permitted up to 30 days prior to any event.

If less than 30 days, no refunds are permitted

If tickets have been purchased via the Eventbrite ticketing platform their booking fees are non-refundable

Live events

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to refuse admission or terminate a visit to an event.

By attending an event, ticket holders consent to being photographed or filmed incidentally and to Community Trauma Conference UK’s publication or broadcast of any such photographs or film.

Live Event tickets are valid for the date and time stated. Please check your tickets carefully when you receive them as we may not always be able to rectify mistakes.

You may give your place to another person if you let us know that person’s name at least 48 hours before the event begins.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Community Trauma UK reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior warning.
